So, who am I?

I am a wife, a mum and step-mum and a fur mum to my two fur babies (who are spoilt rotten!!).

I am a degree-qualified registered counsellor, trauma therapist and clinical hypnotherapist with a warm, down-to-earth and authentic nature.

I am naturally curious and always learning, so when I am not in the clinic, you will usually find me in a corner with a book or undertaking training to expand my toolbox (I literally never stop learning!!)

I am super passionate about trauma therapy and working with survivors to rebuild their lives after the impact of trauma and tough life experiences.

My passion for supporting others through life's challenges began after facing my own struggles. Through doing my own deep work, a fire was ignited within me to learn as much as possible about how the mind and body function in the face of adversity. This began my journey into being a therapist and supporting others through their healing.

I consider my work with those who entrust me with their stories an absolute honour and privilege. I am inspired every day by the strength, courage and resilience

I see within my clients, even in the toughest of circumstances.

As a counsellor, I aim to provide a safe space for you to explore your struggles, thoughts, and feelings. Our work together will deepen your self-awareness and equip you with the tools and strategies to reclaim your voice, your light and your life.

I look forward to working with you soon.

My approach

An integrative approach recognises that no one therapy is suitable for every person or life event and that integrating different therapies may be necessary to cater to the complexity that is the human experience.

My work is deeply grounded in a person-centred, strengths-based, and trauma-informed framework. I use an integrative approach that draws from Psycho-dynamic therapy, Somatic Processing, Attachment theory, Ego State/Parts work, Mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

As a specialist trauma counsellor, I have undertaken many thousands of hours in specific trauma therapy, this includes working with single accident trauma, PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), dissociation, as well as relational and attachment trauma. Specific modalities include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Attachment Informed EMDR (For complex trauma), EFT, Matrix Reimprinting, IFS informed parts work and I am currently undertaking a 3-year specialisation in Somatic trauma therapy - this entails working with the body-based trauma treatment.

Every therapy session is as unique as you are, and is customised to your specific needs and goals, ensuring that your lived experiences are heard, valued, and understood, taking things at your pace in your time.
